Class Evaluation   

1. Things I liked about this class was he taught us to do the right thing. I've improved in my typing and learned many things from the student success statement. I really like this class because I like computers and this class is filled with nice people

2. Things I probably didn't like about this class is sometimes some of the students can be rude. They don't really behave much and it gets kind of annoying.

3. I feel like this class doesn't need to improve because it is fine as it is . This class teaches you many things and helps you improve your typing skills.

4. A highlight for me in the class was when we had free time . After the typing , we got to play some games and it was fun.

5. Yes, I did try my best in this class . I did all of my Student Success Statement and my Research. I put all my thoughts into the Reflections we were asked to write. I payed attention to the videos that were shown to the class.

6. No , I am not . Sometimes I am on instagram talking to my friends or looking at posts. After school , I usually lay down and take naps . Later on , I do some of my homework and fall asleep .

7. Yes , I am committed to being a CTR person because it is always good to choose the right . We want to treat others the way we would want to be treated back and we want everyone to be happy , not sad . Everyone wants to have a good future so we have to help encourage them .

I think what this quote is trying to say is to not tell a lie because then it will spread and other lies might come. It is not good to tell someone something that is not true. You should always tell the truth because lies can hurt people’s  feelings. It is wrong to hurt someones feelings because imagine if that was you. You wouldn’t like someone to tell a lie about you . It’ll make people think differently about you and people wouldn’t want to be your friend. Even if it’s a “good” lie , it’s not really good . You’re still not telling the truth about what really happened . People spread lies about other people because they probably don’t like them. The best thing to do is to get along with people and try not to cause problems . Don’t spread lies cause then more would come making people feel sad or depressed .

                             The Savage Scorpion 
 One day , Elder Patrick Kearon went on a walk in the Arabian Peninsula . He was told everytime when he wanted to go take a walk , that to put shoes on . Patrick disobeyed what his father and mother said and decided to go walk without shoes.  He was having his nice little walk until he felt a little sting on his foot. A scorpion had just stung him and he was in such pain. He cried for help and his parents came rushing to help. They drove him to the nearest hospital there was and said he was fine. Patrick learned a very important lesson , always do what is right.

What  I think this quote is trying to say is to always do the right thing no matter what. It is always great to do the right thing. When you do something right, you feel good. Helping out others is a way of doing something right. Never do anything wrong or your life will crumble.  People who do bad things don’t earn any freedom.They will be sad and miserable for their whole life. I also believe that we should all do what is right. You will earn more respect from you doing the right thing by trying to help out to clean your school’s park or your house. Always do good no matter what and you’ll end up being the greatest person you can ever be.

Today , I am dealing with is Internet Abuse . I am trying to stop using the internet but it’s really hard because I go insane without my phone sometimes. I am also dealing with stress. I always stress out about school and now i’m a little bit more stressed out because of finals heading my way.

                                       Being a CTR student can really help you in ways. By being a CTR , I can try and do other things and stop using my electronics all of the time. I can calm down and try not to stress out about finals.

                                  I can help other teens by trying to convince them to get actual help from a help center or I can try and help them out if they ever need anyone there to discuss their problems.

I think the greatest need that teens have is love.

What I think this quote is trying to say is that physical fitness is not the only thing to have a healthy body, but so is Intelligence. When you have a nice personality , your body is healthy and fit. It is good to have a nice personality because it makes you into a nice person. Everyone is going to want to be friends with you if you are kind and intelligent. People with unhealthy bodies continue to do the same bad things. They don’t have intelligence so their body isn’t fit. People who do drugs is one example of not having a healthy. Having good skill and intelligence leads you to good high stakes. Always try your best and have a healthy body. Having a healthy body means you are a CTR person and that is the best thing you can be.

                                   Librarian

Duties and Responsibilities: work in a variety of places such as a library of a health organization. They help health providers, patients and students through the information they have available.

Salary: Average about $58,000

Education: Must complete a 4-year baccalaureate program in any discipline they choose. Some most common majors include biology, library sciences, management or health information

Demand or Need for this profession: Demands for health science librarians started to go down meaning there is not a big need for them.

Reflection: I don’t think I would want to be a health science librarian because it doesn’t really interest me.

What I think this quote is trying the say is that when you’re kind, it will

lead you to great things. Even if you’re really great at a sport, that does not mean you are great. Being kind is better than being good at something. When your kind , you can make new friends. Helping someone out is also a way of kindness. Doing your best in school is better than trying to be the best at playing video games. No one is going to respect anyone who is rude and does not treat people with respect. When you treat people with kindness, you feel good. People will treat you back with respect and that would make you feel great. Continue being kind and good thing will happen to you.

                              T H A N K S G I V I N G   B R E A K

What I did during my Thanksgiving break was have a family dinner with my family , went shopping and spent time with my family. I went to the Mall , my tia’s house and Barnes and Nobles. I saw the movie “Sausage Party” and I actually really enjoyed it. On Sunday, I was enjoying some football with my dad. The books I read over break were mostly mangas. I barely have just finished reading the manga “Servamp”. I did many homework during the break like Math, English and Health. I had to do a little booklet for health and answer some questions for English. Also on Sunday, I went to my Sister’s boyfriend house and it was fun. His little brother bought a little choo choo train and started playing with it. I got home and ate some chicken soup that my grandma had made and went to sleep. I enjoyed this Thanksgiving break and had fun!

What Marcus Aurelius is trying to say is if something is bad or not true , that not to do it or say it. The reason we shouldn’t say anything that is not true because then it can spread as a rumor. What if someone said something about you that isn’t true and people start making fun of you for it. You shouldn’t say things that are not true and lying isn’t good. Don’t do something that is wrong. Doing the wrong thing can lead to some consequences. For example, like stealing isn’t a good thing to do , nor is bullying people. Don’t spread lies around because later it ends up hurting someone. You might find it funny but when you think about it, it really isn’t. Doing the things that aren’t right won’t make you look good.

              Thanksgiving and Thanksgiving Day

Thanksgiving is a holiday that is usually celebrated in the United States or Canada. It is celebrated as a day to give thanks for the blessing of harvest. It is celebrated on the fourth Monday of October in Canada and Thanksgiving is celebrated on the fourth Thursday in November for the United States . Historically in the United States, it has been a celebration of the blessing of the year and good harvest. The first Thanksgiving was celebrated by the Pilgrims after their first harvest in the New World in 1621. It has been celebrated as a federal holiday ever since 1863. President Abraham Lincoln proclaimed a national  holiday of Thanksgiving and Praise to ur Father in Heaven.

 What I think this quote is trying to say is that its be tter to be fair than to win or lose. People shouldn’t have to win by cheating, they should just be fair. No one is going to want to play a game with a cheater.  I believe cheating is wrong and everyone should win by playing fairly. Choosing the right is another thing that is more important than winning or losing. People who don’t play fair go through the consequences. The best thing you can do is try your best and try to get better. Cheating will get you nowhere in life and it will just make you look bad. So play fairly and don’T cheat even if you’re trying to win. Always choose the right and you’ll continue to be a good and happy sport.

What I think this quote is trying to say is honesty is the best thing to do. Being honesty is better than telling a dirty lie. When people tell lies, they feel bad when they do it because it’s wrong. Some people make lies to make them look “good” or try not to get in trouble. Telling a lie doesn’t make you look good, it makes you look bad. No one would want a friend that’s a liar. They would just lie to you all the time and be a really  bad friend and no one would want that. It’s better to be honest and whenever you get in trouble, to face the consequences. Telling the truth is better than telling a lie because people will believe you and trust you. Don’t drop down to being a liar and continue to be honest .

I think Veterans Day is a really interesting and nice holiday . It’s nice to show people caring for the people who served for our country. This is probably one of my favorite holidays. I hope people continue to celebrate this holiday.

What I think this statement is trying to say is to follow the steps to live a life with integrity. Have the courage to say no to the wrong thing.Don’t say yes to anything that is wrong.Have the courage to face the truth.When you face the truth, you must confess that is was right and not to lie about it. Do the right thing and keep on doing it.It is always good to choose the right and to never choose the wrong

What I think this quote is trying to say is when you hang with the wise people , you are wise . Don’t hang out with the people who like to smoke pot or drink. Both of those actions won’t make you wise. The wise do the opposite from smoking pot and drinking, they’re really nice people. You can actually call those wish people your friend. The companion of fools don’t care about their school work , they just want to have fun. The wise people do their school work and help out others. Don’t end up like the foolish companions and be a CTR student. Sure others might think the fools are “cool” but they really aren’t , not one bit.

In this story , it talked about the Gainesville Tornadoes. They were a basketball team that played without no fans. They didn’t really mind it because they loved to play basketball, but the Vanguard team did. They felt that playing basketball without no one to cheer for them is weird. Vanguard wanted to be nice and did a little something for them. When both teams were going to play, a bunch of fans were there cheering for The Gainesville Tornadoes. This made them really happy knowing there were people there to cheer for them. It didn’t really matter who won because who cares. This made me feel kind of happy because the other team was so generous to do this for them.

What i think this quote is trying to say is the best thing to do is to do good. In sports or activities, you should always try your best. It doesn’t matter if you’re bad at the sport or activity you do. When you do good , you feel good. People like to do recreations to help them calm down like before doing homework. Some recreations can be really fun and can make you happy. Let’s say you’re going to go play soccer and you want to be really good at it. If you try enough , you’ll start getting better. One recreation you should do good on is school . If you don’t do good in school, you won’t achieve a lot. Continue doing good and never do bad.

What I think this quote is trying to say is choose the right even if people are against doing it and don’t choose the wrong even when people are for it . It is always better to do the right thing even if others don’t agree with you. Don’t end up like those other people who do the wrong thing. If you do the right thing, you’ll feel happy. When you do something good , you will feel good . People who do bad things feel bad but they don’t show it or say it. For example, when someone steals a car they know what they are doing is wrong and feel bad. When someone helps another with something that is good , you will feel happy that you did something and people will find you as a very nice person. Criminals and others should start changing their actions and choose the right no matter what. Don’t let a whole bunch of people that do bad things change you from being a good person.

                   SCHOOL HOMECOMING

School Homecoming: tradition of welcoming back former students and celebrating a school’s existence.

The origin of homecoming was in 1911 . A football game with Kansas vs. Missouri that was said to be the first college football homecoming game.

We celebrate homecoming so it can encourage students to have school spirit and pride.

Events that happen that are related to homecoming are:

• Pep Rallies
• Homecoming Dance
• Picnics
• Parades

It’s called the Homecoming Game because it revolves after graduated students coming back to their school aka their “home”

Homecoming Etiquette is to bring someone like a friend or a date.

Reflection ; I feel homecoming is something cool and unique for the school and the students to have fun and show school spirit.

What i think this quote is trying to say is its better to have a good name than things to achieve in life. It’s better to have people look at you with a good name except for a bad one. Having a good name means you are a good person and you do the right thing. People with bad names aren’t really good people at all. For example , someone with a bad name is not a good person at all. They probably done drugs are done something bad. You should achieve on trying to have a good name.
