I think this is actually a really great quote by Abraham Lincoln. People should always tell the truth no matter what. If you’re too scared to tell the truth about something , its better to do it before something goes very wrong. For example, say you  robbed a liquor store but people think someone else did it and you got away from it. It is best to just stand up for what you think is the right thing to do. Never lie about anything bad to your parents or your friends. If your friends find out you’re a liar, then they would not want to be your friend anymore. They would be too scared to even trust you and might just move on to someone else leaving you behind because you are just a liar.
