2. WORLD WAR II occurred in Europe , Russia, Africa , Asia , The Pacific Ocean , The Middle East , Eurasia , Southeast Asia , and The Atlantic Ocean.

• Russians reach Berlin: Hitler commits suicide and Germany surrenders on May the 7th
• Auschwitz liberated by Soviet troops
• Truman becomes President of the US on Roosevelt’s death, and Athlee replaces Churchill
• After atomic bombs are dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, Japan surrenders in the 14 of August
