What I think this quote is trying to say is choose the right even if people are against doing it and don’t choose the wrong even when people are for it . It is always better to do the right thing even if others don’t agree with you. Don’t end up like those other people who do the wrong thing. If you do the right thing, you’ll feel happy. When you do something good , you will feel good . People who do bad things feel bad but they don’t show it or say it. For example, when someone steals a car they know what they are doing is wrong and feel bad. When someone helps another with something that is good , you will feel happy that you did something and people will find you as a very nice person. Criminals and others should start changing their actions and choose the right no matter what. Don’t let a whole bunch of people that do bad things change you from being a good person.

                   SCHOOL HOMECOMING

School Homecoming: tradition of welcoming back former students and celebrating a school’s existence.

The origin of homecoming was in 1911 . A football game with Kansas vs. Missouri that was said to be the first college football homecoming game.

We celebrate homecoming so it can encourage students to have school spirit and pride.

Events that happen that are related to homecoming are:

• Picnics
• Parades

It’s called the Homecoming Game because it revolves after graduated students coming back to their school aka their “home”

Homecoming Etiquette is to bring someone like a friend or a date.

Reflection ; I feel homecoming is something cool and unique for the school and the students to have fun and show school spirit. 

“ A good name is better than anything you can achieve in this life “

What i think this quote is trying to say is its better to have a good name than things to achieve in life. It’s better to have people look at you with a good name except for a bad one. Having a good name means you are a good person and you do the right thing. People with bad names aren’t really good people at all. For example , someone with a bad name is not a good person at all. They probably done drugs are done something bad. You should achieve on trying to have a good name.

They can always try and change their name to a good one. People with good names do good things , not like the bad ones. Never try to earn a bad name because than you will end up with a very bad and stressful life. Have a good name and have a very nice life.

I think what this quote is saying is not to hang around with the people who do the wrong way . Get away from them even if you know that you’re going to be alone. There would probably be times where your friends are doing a ctw action. Try not to get involved into what they’re doing and walk the right path , not the wrong. For example, say if your friends are gonna go out and have a couple of beers. You know there might be consequences to this because your mother warned you about not to drink beer. Don’t let the people that are your “ friends “ convince you to do it . It is always good to choose the right and walk away from it. Respond with “ sorry , no can do . I’m a CTR person and i’ll continue to be one. If they make fun of you because of that , go meet some CTR friends.

It is always good to choose the right first of all. Whenever you choose the right , good things come back to you. Being a CTR would make you into a good person. It makes you feel good and lets other people look good at you. Your'e a champion in your own way. Everyone achieves good and exciting things. Be a CTR and continue being the best champion you can be.

What I think this quote means is that whenever you get a goal and achieve it , there will probably be a new one . Set a goal and get another one. You will always have one or more goals that you would want to achieve. Maybe one day , you want to go travel somewhere with your family and friends to a place you have never been to before. To accomplish that goal , you have to work hard and never give up to achieve it . If you want to do really good in school , you also have to work hard. A new goal will pop up whenever you discover something that interests you . It is always great to achieve your goals and never give up on them. Set more goals for yourself because once you achieve them , you’ll feel good. You will feel proud of yourself achieving that goal.

                         Columbus Day

Columbus Day is a holiday that some countries celebrate Christopher Columbus’ discovery of America. Christopher Columbus said that the world was round so he wanted to go out and sail. Queen Isabella provided him with three ships , the Nina , Pinta and the Santa Maria. On August 3rd , 1492 , he set sail. When he arrived at America , he found “ browned skins “ who have lived there . He thought he was in India but it was a mistake. He was actually near some part of America.

Reflection: I believe that this is actually very interesting but I still don’t get why would people celebrate it. Christopher probably wasn’t even the first person to reach America.

                         I think what this quote is saying is once we realize that obedience is something really important , then it would be really helpful and would keep us up , not stumbling. It is always important to be obedient do matter what. If your'e not obedient, bad things would happen . With obedience, that would take us to a whole knew level. You don't want to interfere with the stumbling blocks . Stumbling blocks like drugs , smoking or being rude will just bring you down. The building blocks would be a new amazing thing. Building blocks like being honest , loyal , patient and respectful will lead you to having a great future .
